When conditions are favorable we head out to search for the Aurora Borealis, often called the Northern Lights.
The season for Aurora starts 1 of September but you get a sneak peek if you are really lucky in August. See some of the photos our friends captured last night.
Sometimes they are brilliant, sometimes just there, and every once in a while „missing in action“. The Northern Lights – Aurora Borealis is a tour on winter nights, operated ONLY when sky and Aurora conditions are forecast to be favourable.
The best tour to see Auroras in both south and north Iceland.
Take a walk through history and learn how people and cultures around the world saw the Northern Lights via legends and myths connected to this amazing phenomenon. There are interactive displays as well as a specially equipped ‘photo booth’ where you can learn how to adjust your camera’s settings should you want to try your hand at capturing the auroras yourself.
