Gullfoss or the “Golden Falls“ is an iconic waterfall of Iceland – located in the glacial river Hvítá. The water plummets in two steps down into the 32 meters deep crevice.

Þingvellir National Park is a historical and geological wonder, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of few centimeters per year.  Þingvellir was accepted on the UNESCO World Heritage list for its cultural values in 2004.

Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the volcanic crater lake Kerið – the crater itself is oval, about 270 m long, 170 m wide and 55 m deep.
