A journey into Raufarhólshellir is a unique experience and a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption as one walks in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred east of the Bláfjöll mountains about 5200 years ago.
Active volcanic environment with a colorful and bubbling hot spring area, endless lava fields and moonlike landscape. Also an interesting exhibition that shows how man utilizes different energy sources and how we benefit from it in our everyday lives.

This tour is an upgrade of our Southern Iceland tour. When we arrive at the glacier Sólheimajökull you will go on a Glacier walk of between 2 and 3 hours.
The countless variety of rivers, waterfalls, mountains and glaciers along Iceland’s Southern Coastline is spectacular.
Visit the fjords – Hvalfjörður and Borgarfjörður, and enjoy the amazing natural sights the western coast has to offer. Delve deep into a cave and explore its incredible colors and lava formations that were, until now, hidden from everyone.
