Join us on a exciting tour drop off biking tour that takes place in the volcanic desert of the Reykjanes peninsula. We’ve got a cool challenging track that starts of easy from the Blue Lagoon parking lot where we head towards our ATV mountain where we take a fun semi-challenging off-road path through the lavafield with majestic sceneries over Grindavík and the coastline.

We ride through the Reykjanes peninsula where we see the Reykjanes tip, the Reykjanes lighthouse and parts of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge that lies between the continents of North America and Europe. We then drive along the beach of Sandvík, a black sandy beach where Clint Eastwood shot his film Flags of Our Fathers. We will stop at the old lighthouse, get some hot chocolate and savourIcelandic homemade twisted doughnuts (kleinur).

We ride on ATV along lava and black sand up between two mountains, Húsafell and Fiskidalsfjall, and then up onto the mountain Hagafell, where we expect a good view over the Blue Lagoon and the island of Eldey. As we head back we can expect good views over the sea and driving by the coast gives and opportunity to see dramatic shipwrecks.

We ride to Krísuvík peninsula over the mountain Festarfjall and to the black sandy beach Selatangar where we take a short break before heading back for some more mountain safari. We ride on ATV between lava and black sand and up onto the mountain Hagafell, where we can expect a good view over the Blue Lagoon and the island of Eldey.
